  MANAGEMENT DECISION & PRODUCTIVITY

SHO(R)T
DECISIONS
THIRAMYP PANDIAN BOMB VEERA SENAN FOR
PRODUCTIVITY

PANDIAN KING
In the ancient Tamil  Nadu (India), there was a place called
"Thiramyp
Pandiyanoor",  named after the King "Thiramyp Pandian", who ruled this area in the 8th Century AD. (In Tamil, Thiramy = Productivity oriented ability, Pandiyan =  Dynastic name of the King's family, who ruled the ancient South-Eastern districts with Madurai as the capital, Oor = Place). The speciality of the king was that he indoctrinated the concept of "Productivity" and "Faster Decision making" ability among all his Administrative Heads, Citizens, Workers and even among the Army Personnel. He encouraged and rewarded the individuals who come out with new ideas to save cost, energy, resources, time etc...
PANDIAN
PRODUCTIVITY
One of the most Practical Decisions and Productive achievement of "Thiramyp
Pandiayan" was, raising the height of the boundary walls of all the irrigation tanks and crop fields, in his ruling territory. This was as per the
short and ingenious words "Varuppuyara", of the Ancient Tamil poetess "Avvyyar" of 7th Century AD. (In Tamil "Varappu" means boundary wall of water storage/crop fields, and "Uyara" means acquire more height). As per the words of the Poetess, raising the boundary walls of irrigation tanks and crop boundaries will raise the  level of stored water. This will increase the "Paddy" outputs (the main crop which needs a constant wet earth) and feed more people. People who eat well will be more healthy and be more productive by their ability to contribute more work. This productive contribution will ultimately strengthen the kingdom, and result in increasing the fame of the Ruler to greater heights.
CHOZHA KING MEETING
Chozha Kingdom  was adjacent to the Pandiya Kingdom. In 8th Century AD this was ruled by a King named "Kadal Konda Chozhan" (Kadal = Sea, Konda = Victorious possession,
Chozhan = D
ynastic name of the Chozha King's family).  He heard of the fame and capabilities of "Thiramyp Pandian", and developed an interest to meet him, discuss and gather some new Productivity and Management Decision concepts, for improvement of the self as well as the Chozha kingdom. He sent his envoy to Pandiya Kingdom to convey the same and get an acceptance for his visit. "Thiramyp Pandian" was two fold happy to meet the envoy from Chozha King. Because, he wanted to strengthen the Good will with his neighbour as well as to gain the secrets of the ability, intellegence  and oveseas victories  of "Kadal Konda Chozhan"
, to intensify his Productive thoughts and decision abilities. Immediately he called the Royal Astrologer to fix a good and auspicious day for the visit.
ASTROLOGER'S CONTRIBUTIONS
The astrologer said that the best day is the next immediate Full Moon day, at 7.11 PM. It is because :-

  • The Moon which controls the mind, is exposed to the total Sunlight, and it reflects the whole Sun light towards the earth in the night, which is synonymous to an ability to use all the acquired energy to enlighten the worldly subjects. Hence, the Meeting on that day shall provide the optimum knowledge exchange.

  • At 7.11 PM the Moon enters the "Rishbha Rasi" (Taurus/Bull sign) at "Karthigeya Nakshathram" (Star Alcyone),  the King of the "Krithiga Group" (Pleiades Cluster), having over 200 Stars configured inside. If the meeting takes place at this point of time,  both the Kings will have the driving power of the Bull and reach some constructive action plan to benefit a large cluster of subjects in both the Kingdom.

  • 7+1+1 = 9, representing the maximum of any number of digits in single or in clusters. This is auspicious in numerological science.

  • "Thiramyp Pandian" said that the meeting should take place without any disruption, as happened to him in the past, due to his minor health problems.

  • The Astrologer had a copy  of the horoscope of "Thiramyp Pandian". He studied and found that the Mercury was in Pisces  (Meenam), at the time of his birth. It is a  weak (Debilitation or Neecham) position for Mercury. Pisces is a Water sign and  Mercury is the hottest and fastest rotating planet (closest to the Sun).  Their combination boils and evaporates the aquatic contents, as well as pump them fast inside the  person, born with this combination. Astronomically, it should  cause Digestive & Blood pressure problems to the King. Hence, he asked whether the King had frequent  problems of this nature, hindering any important appointments. The King was surprised, and said that he should positively make the meeting with the Chozha King.
The astrologer suggested to "Thiramyp Pandian" to initiate the meeting with a light meal made of "Cholam" (Indian Corn) and "Kondai Kadalai" (Whole Bengal Gram). Both are nutritive, improve and moderate his Digestive and Blood pressure  systems. Also the names
"Kadalai, Kondai and Cholam" synchronises with the name "Kadal Konda Chozhan". This is a favourable combination as per "Vasthu Sasthram" (Mixed Science of Nomenclature, Numerology and Juxtaposition).

CHEF'S  SELECTION
The king immediately called the Royal Chef and orderd to make the initiation dish with "Cholam" and "Kondai Kadalai". The Chef said he will make "Cholap Poori" with the side dish of "Kondai Kadalai Koottu" (Koottu = Liquid mixture). See Recipe below.
WELCOME  PLANS

Accordingly, Thiramyp Pandian fixed and conveyed the date of visit to "Kadal Konda Chozhan". He also made an elaborate Red Carpet Welcome, with 21 Gunshots. He called the best Soldier "Veera Senan", in his army. Veera Senan has contributed many ideas, implemented and saved the Army expenses, by many short-cut strategies, Thiramayp Pandian told him that as soon as the Chozha King "Kadal Konda Chozhan" arrives in the Pandiyan Border, he should shoot 21 times.
SOLDIER'S  FECUNDITY
Innovative and Inquisitive "Veera Senan" said "Great King, I have a small cost saving suggestion ?" Thiramy was very glad to hear that and said, tell me your suggestion for a good and improved welcome to the Chozha King. Veera said "Respected King, Should I waste my second shot, if I can get the Chozha King in the 1st itself !!! I am very confident of my shooting ability, and I will be happy to save the 20 shots as a cost saving service to your great Kingdom Sir !!! I have already taken such productive and creative decisions in the past Sir". With widely open eyes, looking for greater rewards from the King, he continued ". When a Tiger entered the  "Karumbu(ch)  Cholai Gramam" (Karunbu = Sugar Cane. Cholai = Rich Farm Yard. Gramam = Village) and was hiding behind the fully grown and tall Sugar Cane crops,  instead of hunting it with a team of 14 Army personnel for a long time, I detonated the area with a cheap "Fragmentation bomb". Even though about 50 acres of land became barren, the Tiger ran away once for all into the forest. Even it comes back, it will be openly visible, as the whole area is deserted !!!"
PRODUCTIVITY MANAGEMENT ENACTMENT
Thiramyp Pandian, felt a strong shock, first in his life time, and said "Veera go back to your Army base immediately", in a shouting voice. Immediately, he created an ordinance that "If the subjects of the Kingdom gets any productive and cost saving ideas hence forth, they are not authorised to implement them immediately. They should be written and deposited into a "Karuthuk Kudam" (Idea Pot), which will be installed in every road junctions. The ideas will be evaluated by a panel of  Ministers, with reference to a broad-based "Social and Economic justification" and then a decision will be taken to Implement or Not". Appropriate award also will be given to the idea givers.
Frustrated Pandiya King decided to welcome the Chozha King with all paraphernalia,   including the Chola Poori & Kondai Kadalai Koottu, but without the 21 Gun shots.
MORAL : Productivity is a relative and two-edged tool. Productive to one area could be un-productive and even be destructive to another vital area. If it is not viewed with reference to a broad-based benefit orientation, it may induct many dangerous end-results.  Similarly the (Government & private) Management Decisions, if not evaluated for its implications on a wide range of after-effects on a society, it may result in many dangerous and injurious consequences.

Viewer's Question

Can Gram flour cause Blood Pressure ?

DR.VSRS

Botanical name of Gram or Chik Pea  is  Cicer  Arietinum.
01. Blood Pressure (BP) is caused by excess salt in the blood, thin arteries resisting  the free flow of blood, and disproportionate combination of Red cells and  Plasma in the Blood.
02. Gram flour is rich in Calcium and Phosphorous, both are necessary for the development of the Bone infrastructure.
03. Correct Bone infrastructure and the bone marrow balances the combination of  Red cells and Plasma in the Blood. Hence, it should help to reduce the BP.
04. Excessive intake of oils and fats cause thickening of the arteries. Hence the selection of "Non fat" oils like Corn oil,  Sun flower oil etc... and their controlled use for frying gram flour based food, should not cause any BP.
05. Excessive intake of any food stuff or salt can be an indirect reason for BP. So is  the Gram flour. Do not take it in excess. The high Calcium and Phosphorous contents could deposit "Calcium phosphate" stones in the Gall Bladder and      Kidney.
06.Trial and error intake tests infer that a maximum of 7 Tea  Cups of Gram flour (as whole gram + flour) per month is safe for any person.
